As of November 2nd, IMA will introduce a new system for submitting slot requests for Iceland to serve as the RMS in decentralized procedures (DC) and for applications for national marketing authorizations in Iceland.
Instead of submitting a completed form via email to IMA, applicants will now fill out a web form on the new web portal, slots.ima.is. The web form is based on the CMDh template for RMS slot requests.
Key advantages of the new system
- Electronic request system: Applicants can electronically request slots for DC procedures with Iceland as the RMS and for national marketing authorization applications in Iceland.
- Increased transparency: The web portal provides applicants with information on which months Lyfjastofnun has available slots.
- User-friendly interface: A simple and efficient system ensuring a seamless experience for all users
It is important to note that submitting a slot request does not guarantee a slot. All slot requests will be reviewed and responded to.
